Link to "John Henry's Honest Breakfast" Website
This is a link to a website I built with one of my favorite classmates, BRENDAN LATTIN & was based on an identity project I did last year for the fictional capitol hill breakfast restaurant "John Henry's Honest Breakfast."
It resizes for mobile!

Rebranding of Seattle Central Child Care Center
For our final collaborative project in our New Media class, I was assigned (along with two great photographers, Elysa Weitala & Scott Puckett) to design for the Seattle Central Child Care Center. We chose to focus on the relationship between our urban landscape and the imagination and exuberance of children.
We incorporated my drawn "imaginary friends" into the scenes shot by Elysa & Scott to create window coverings for the safety and privacy of the children. The lines drawn through the photos indicate breaks we measured in the windows.
Here is a t-shirt idea we had for children and staff:

The "Digital Kitchen" Challenge
After Digital Kitchen visited our New Media class, our teachers asked us to create a two minute promotional video for Seattle Central Creative Academy in two weeks.
I was teamed with two hilarious photographers, Robby Rautenberg & Devin Cunningham. I asked my friend David Wolf (a musician I met at UPS) to compose the music for it. CHECK HIM OUT: http://www.myspace.com/davidwolfmusic
P.S.- Devin is the star and I am the one wearing khakis during the touching conclusion.

The "Patquisterneaudehamm" Crest
The Patneaudes and the Hammerquists are next-door neighbors. The Patneaudes include an art major, a writer and a film student. The Hammerquists include a couple of scientists and an engineer. My brother and I always had to ask the Hammerquists for help with our math homework and I still call Mari if I'm lost and too ashamed to ask anyone else for directions. Together, we form the "Patquisterneaudehamms."
This year for Christmas in the middle of finals I decided to hand paint/silk screen us sweatshirts that I lugged home on the bus from Goodwill. The boys REALLY love the orange that I found for them.

I was asked to make a coloring page that you can download from the website for the book "Nubs: The True Story of a Mutt, a Marine & a Miracle," written by Kirby Larson, Mary Nethery and Major Brian Dennis.
