For our final collaborative project in our New Media class, I was assigned (along with two great photographers, Elysa Weitala & Scott Puckett) to design for the Seattle Central Child Care Center. We chose to focus on the relationship between our urban landscape and the imagination and exuberance of children.
We incorporated my drawn "imaginary friends" into the scenes shot by Elysa & Scott to create window coverings for the safety and privacy of the children. The lines drawn through the photos indicate breaks we measured in the windows.
